The Eid and opening party celebrations continue on Monday 20th August @Etoiles when we welcome back DJ IRWAN, with GEORGE SAFI on percussions!! Mash up mixin' at its finest!

He is not dubbed as YOUNG GURU for nothing. He was a young self-made DJ back in his hometown, Delaware as a teenager—with his own amplifiers, lights, and microphones on hand. He has gone from Delawarer to DC, to New York where he worked as official tour DJ to rap stars Deric Angeletti (Madd Rapper album), Memphis Bleek, and supa-star Jay-Z for Roc-a-Fella Records.

He bagged the Best Rap Song at the Grammies in 2009 for his legendary hit “Empire State of Mind”, with American rapper and hip hop artist Jay-Z and the amazing vocals of Alicia Keys.

He does hip hip, rock, Electro, House, and Soul—and his is now known in the music industry as Jay-Z’s multi-talented sound engineer and official tour DJ. Together they topped the American charts nine times, and recently smashed their first UK number one hit for their “Blueprint” album series.

Young Guru will take over the decks at Etoiles to open this weekend with a boom! And he promises a party—New York style, raising up the ante on a very high level here at UAE’s capital!
